Woodchester Park Yate is just a little one tucked within the houses but well worth a visit if you’re in the area. It was one of our favourites to visit when Arthur was younger. I was going to say a toddler then, but he’s still a toddler, he just seems so grown up now! There’s a separate toddler park with equipment that Arthur found simple when he couldn’t even attempt pieces at other parks.
The toddler park has a climbing frame, swings (including a dual child/parent swing), spring loaders and a couple of other bits of play equipment. This is fenced off from the main park and secure. The main park has a new (for 2023) slide that Arthur and his friends could spend hours on, a climbing frame and zip wire. There is lots of open space surrounding the park, perfect for a picnic, as well as a multi-use sports pitch.
The bigger climbing frame in the main park is a bit tricky for Arthur but he usually spends all his time on the slide. I wouldn’t say this one is worth travelling miles for, but a perfect little park if you’re nearby.
