Wheelie Good Time are a recently launched Stay and Play Session in and around Bristol. We were kindly invited to a trial session before they got up and running and Arthur had so much fun! The sessions focus on anything with wheels. From Monster Trucks, Hot Wheels Cars, Toot Toot Drivers, Wooden Trains and much much more. I’ve been keeping an eye on their Instagram page to see which new toys are introduced for future sessions.
Arthur’s favourite thing to do was racing the Monster Trucks and Hot Wheels cars down the ramps. He also loved playing with the Bruder Toys and dried rice. Anything a little bit messy and he’s straight there! He got involved with making toot toot tracks and train tracks with other children and enjoyed watching the battery operated trains go around the tracks. It was really nice watching him interact and play with other children.
The Wheelie Good Time sessions are currently on a Saturday or Sunday which I think is great as there are very view Stay and Play sessions that run on weekends – that I know of anyway. It’s nice that Sam can come along to sessions too as everything seems to be on weekdays when he’s working. The sessions are aimed at children aged 6 and under – or any child that loves to play with cars!
Where is Wheelie Good Time?
They will be running at various locations around Bristol, the session we attended was at Longwell Green and they’ve recently held their first sessions at The Curious Play Cafe in Hanham. They have upcoming sessions in Yate, Lyde Green, Little Stoke, Frenchay and Windmill Hill. The sessions that are held at The Curious Play Cafe are smaller sessions, aimed at younger children, or children that prefer a quieter environment.
