The Mall Cribbs Causeway is one of our favourite places to shop. It has everything under one roof (or in close proximity) and free all day parking, what’s not to love. Other than the shops inside The Mall Cribbs itself, there is also Dunelm, TKMaxx/Homesense, a huge Next and Mamas and Papas and the largest ASDA/George store in Bristol. Obviously there’s a lot more in the area but these are the places we end up the most at the moment as we’re refreshing our house and have two little ones. I feel like I’m at Dunelm more than I’m at home at the moment.
When going to The Mall with Arthur I feel like it’s a case of doing something for him, then doing something for me, because honestly, what toddler wants to stroll around shops. This is the the play area at The Mall Cribbs is perfect for a little break to run off steam, especially on the sunny day. Although be prepared with the snacks if you don’t want to have to buy an overpriced ice cream from the conveniently parked ice cream van.
I feel the play area at The Mall Cribbs could do with being a bit bigger considering where it is. There’s only a couple of little climbing frames, a slide and swings, and it does get very busy when the sun is out. Although they do add additional play zones like the beach during school holidays/the summer months which I’m hoping they do again this year.

There is plenty of free all day parking at The Mall Cribbs Causeway and also underground parking near John Lewis.
Is There a cafe near The Play Area at The Mall Cribbs?
There are many cafes to chose from in and around Cribbs Causeway including Costa, Soho, Pret, M&S Cafe and Starbucks. There is also a Krispy Kreme which we enjoy as a treat!
Are there other activities for children near The Mall Cribbs Causeway?
There is also the Wild Things Play Project, Vue Cinema and Hollywood Bowl and Arcade within walking distance from The Mall Cribbs.
