As we start the Easter Holidays we see all of the “kids eat free” offers being advertised. Cafes/restaurants that do school holiday offers are anywhere from Tesco, to M&S, IKEA and even Bills however ASDA better this by offering their Kids Eat for £1 deal all year round. All day, every day, school holidays or not. As much as we look forward to trying the different restaurants and cafes on offer, we always end up back at ASDA as a fool-proof choice.
IS There A Minimum Spend?
There is no minimum adult spend to get the Kids Eat For £1 offer at ASDA Café so you can purchase the £1 meal and the £1 meal only. I find many of the cafes and restaurants included often have a minimum spend, sometimes up to £10 and this isn’t money that I’d be spending otherwise. This means I’d end up spending more, just to get the Kids Eat For £1 / free deal.
What Meals Are Available In The Kids Eat For £1 Offer?
ASDA include their hot and cold meals in the offer. Hot meals can vary but are usually sausage, chips and beans (Arthur’s go-to), beans/cheese on toast and sometimes a jacket potato. The cold meals (pick ‘n’ mix) include a sandwich, snack/fruit and a drink. The hot meals also come with a piece of fruit and a drink. Drinks include water or strawberry/chocolate milkshake but there may be others available depending which ASDA you visit.
What Adult Meals Are There?
ASDA Cafes have a great selection of meals and drinks for adults too. They offer sandwiches, jacket potatoes, pizzas, all day breakfasts and sweet treats. Drinks include teas, coffees and cold drinks and some ASDAs offer free refills on soft drinks.
Are There Vegetarian/Vegan Options?
There are a few Vegetarian options to choose from and my local ASDA are always as accommodating as they can be with other dietary preferences.
