I’ve been having some fun with my new air fryer over the last few weeks and have been trying to recreate some of my favourite recipes using the air fryer. Especially some of my sweet recipes as breastfeeding is giving me such a sweet tooth. This air fryer chocolate crunch (that is accidentally vegan) has been one of my go-tos! I wouldn’t like to tell you how many times I’ve made this over the last couple of weeks.
which air fryer do you use?
I have the Ninja Dual linked here. We have the 7.6L version which is more than big enough for our family of 4 but I’d like to upgrade to the bigger version in the future.
which air fryer silicone trays do you use?
I use these. This kit is ideal for the air fryer and fits into the Ninja Dual perfectly. It also comes with other accessories. I use the metal trays when I’m making pizza/chips etc in the air fryer and need more space.
Is this air fryer chocolate crunch vegan?
I’m currently dairy free for breastfeeding purposes as my youngest son has CMPA so all of my bakes at the moment are dairy free or vegan. I use substitutes, my go-to butter substitute is Vitalite. This air fryer chocolate crunch is vegan.
can i make this in an oven?
Yes of course. To make this in the oven by baking for 14 minutes at 160c. I find it turns out the same whether it’s made in the air fryer or oven but it’s quicker and cheaper when using the air fryer.

Notes
You can use any flour, plain, self-raising, bread, whatever you have in the cupboard.
The same with sugar, you can use granulated, caster, demerara etc but granulated works best in my experience.
