Warren Farm Brean Review

May 6, 2025 ami Leave a comment

We’ve just come home from a stay at Warren Farm Brean, today, I couldn’t wait to get this one typed up. Brean is somewhere Sam and I visited a lot when we were first together. We did an anniversary trip to a VW meet one year and a New Year Eve trip to watch the fireworks from Brean Down Fort another year. This year’s trip was to celebrate our 16th (!) anniversary. Lots has changed in those 16 years but we still love camping and are so lucky our boys now share that love too.

We were looking for somewhere close to Bristol as we didn’t want to travel far. Brean has so many campsites to choose from. We’ve already stayed at a couple but I booked Warren Farm Brean with the hope of adding it to my Best Family Friendly Campsites in the South West post, which (spoiler alert), I can!

Where is Warren Farm Brean?

Warren Farm is one of the last campsites as you head towards Brean Down and the Cove Cafe. The address for Warren Farm Campsite is Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset, TA82RP. It takes around 50 minutes from Bristol.

What Facilities are at Warren Farm?

There is plenty to see and do at the campsite incl. a free soft play suitable for babies, toddlers and children (with a separate toddler area). As well as an on site arcade with a prize shop, bowling, 2p machines, other arcade machines and a pool/snooker room. There is also a Donkey Paddock and Pets Corner with weekly handling sessions. There are many parks dotted around the campsite. We made it our mission to visit them all over the weekend. The campsite features an outdoor gym and fishing lake.

Is Warren Farm Brean Dog Friendly?

Warren Farm is definitely dog friendly. There are dedicated dog friendly camping fields as well as dog exercise areas, 1 and 2 mile farm walks and even a dog agility.

What Shops and Restaurants are at Warren Farm?

There are two supermarkets, one at the main reception and Bunnies at the Sunnyside entrance. Bunnies is slightly bigger but they’re both very well stocked. There is the Sunnyside Chinese and Fish Bar as well as a Nessies Fish and Chips and Cafe by the main reception. The Beachcomber serves food daily from 12pm. There is also the Ice Cream Parlour next to Brean Caravan Shop (well stocked with essentials).

How close is Brean Beach?

The beach is right on the doorstep, just a 2 minute walk through the dunes. There are toilets at the main reception which are easy to pop back to.

Is there evening entertainment at Warren Farm Brean?

We actually booked Warren Farm instead of another local campsite because of the entertainment on offer. There is live entertainment most nights over the weekend and throughout school holidays. The entertainment on offer during our stay was a Kids Disco and Party Game, Bingo, Live Music, Interactive Family Fun, Bands and a Magician. Considering it’s only early May I think that’s a great selection – and it only gets better as the season gets busier. All of the evening entertainment is in The Beachcomber.

How much is it to stay at Warren Farm Brean?

We found Warren Farm to be very reasonable for the facilities on offer. It starts at £20 a night for 2 adults, children under 3 are free and additional people over 3 are £4 per night. Dogs are £2.50 per night. Prices are based on the 2025 tariff and subject to change. You can book via this link. I will see if I can get us a reader discount.

How long does it take to walk into Brean?

The walk to the main area of Brean incl. Brean Leisure Park, Brean Splash and Brean Play takes around 15 minutes. There are buses available. There are also a couple of different amusements/arcades and convenience stores.

When is Brean Market?

Brean Market is now situated at Warren Farm and is weekly on Saturday. This years’ market starts on Saturday 25th May and is open 10am – 4pm.

Are there Cycle Paths around Warren Farm?

The Brean Down Way runs straight past Warren Farm. This is an off road cycle path linking Brean with Weston. It took us around 35 minutes to get into Weston (4 miles) but this was with a 4 year old cycling. It can be done in around 20 minutes and is a beautiful cycle (and walk). Cycle Hire is available from Brean Bike Hire.

I’m hoping I’ve answered all the questions I’ve been asked about this trip on Instagram but as always if there is anything I haven’t answered please leave a comment or message me.
