A little but notable park today. Badminton Play Area is tucked away behind the King George Playing Fields but worth a visit if you’re in the area. It’s has the usual bits of equipment including swings, slides and climbing frames but also a skateboard spring board which is a piece of equipment I haven’t seen before. (I’m still no better at the technical names for the equipment).
Arthur spent most of his time on the toddler climbing frame collecting sticks. I spent most of my time on the little rope swing! It was our first sunny day of the year and made me look forward to all the park visits we have to come. Arthur obviously doesn’t care one with whether it’s raining or sunny!
As well as this play area, there are other bits of equipment near the King George Playing Fields Car Park, including a zip wire. There are a few other local parks mentioned below if you fancy making it into a bit of a “park hop”. Emersons Green Park is one we visit often.
